Thendara Golf Club is offering a free golf camp to kids between the ages of six and 15 starting the week of July 29th. The camp is made possible through the fundraising efforts of the Thendara Golf Club Memory Celebration.
The two sessions run Monday through Friday and each clinic is an hour long. Junior Camp I runs from July 29 through August 2nd.
Instruction for kids ages six to 10 will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. and instruction for ages 11 to 15 will be from 11 a.m. to noon.
Junior camp II will take place from August 5 through 9th.
Instruction for ages six to 10 will be from 9 to 10 a.m. and ages 11 to 15 go from 11 a.m. to noon.
Sign up can be done the day of camp, but early registration is encouraged. Class size is limited to 15.
It is preferable that kids have their own clubs, but if not the Club has some available to loan.
“It’s an excellent clinic and participants are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible,” said Thendara Golf Club employee, Jack Caufield.
Registration can be done in person at the Club or by calling (315) 369-3136.
