The Thendara Golf Club will host the 4th annual Kinderwood Classic Golf Tournament, on Monday, August 5th.
The event is the biggest fundraising event for the Kinderwood Program for Early Education.
Monies raised will assist with the school’s operational costs and costs related to the construction of a new playground on the grounds of View, home of the pre-school program.
The theme of this year’s tournament is, “Come Play in the Adirondacks,” which models the design vision of the future playground.
According to Kinderwood President Page Hannah, the organization is hoping to construct an Adirondack-themed play area.
The design will be set in nature and will encourage children to use their imaginations while practicing the concepts of sharing and taking turns.
Kinderwood supporters are welcome to play golf and enjoy dinner for $85, or just attend the dinner for $35.
The teams will be foursomes.
To register to play or for dinner reservations, contact Sharon Finkle-Kleps at (315) 369-3105 or email: email@example.com.
Registration the day of the event begins at noon with a shot-gun start at 1 p.m.
Dinner will feature an auction and raffles with proceeds directed to the Lorraine Stripp Memorial Scholarship Fund.
The fund named in honor of the late Lorraine Stripp, a Kinderwood instructor for over forty years, makes scholarships available to pre-schoolers.
