Area singers and musicians ages nine to 90 will present a concert “Songs for the Strand-Movie Music You Know and Love” on Saturday, August 3 at 5 p.m at View to benefit the Strand Theatre’s digital conversion.
Mountain Theater Company, in cooperation with View and Niccolls Memorial Presbyterian Church, are sponsoring what they are calling a FUNdraising event that will include songs and trivia from popular films of the past 75 years.

Among the 40-plus performers will be members of the Niccolls Church choir and area residents from Old Forge and Inlet.
There is no admission for this family-friendly event, though donations will be gratefully accepted.
All donations collected at the concert will go towards the fund for the Strand Theatre being administered by CAP-21.
