Voters in the Town of Webb UFSD voted to adopt the 2014-2015 school budget of $8,109,420 by a 294 to 72 margin on Tuesday, May 20th. The proposition to establish a General Capital Reserve Fund was also passed with 273 voting yes to the proposal and 82 against.
In a history-making race that saw five write-in candidates seeking two seats on the Board of Education, Kathy Nahor will fill the remainder of one five-year term which runs from May 20, 2014 through June 30, 2018, earning 135 votes.
