Pastel artist Ingrid Van Slyke of Lake Placid and Big Moose will lead a two-day  workshop, Exploring Pastels from Beginning to End,  at VIEW on Monday and Tuesday, August 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Van Slyke’s pastel paintings have been juried into numerous national pastel exhibitions, including the Northeast National Pastel Exhibition at VIEW.
