Robert and Cathy Dibble of Old Forge announce the engagement of their son, Justin Dibble, to Erika Grueniger, daughter of Mr. Rolf Grueniger and Ms. Mary Grueniger of Lindenhurst, NY.

The couple met at their alma mater, Oswego State University, in Oswego, NY. The future groom is a New York State Trooper.

His fiancée recently received a Master of Science degree in curriculum and instruction from Saint Rose University and is an elementary school teacher.

A July 2015 wedding is planned at Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Ballston Spa, NY.

Ron and Maureen Page of Middletown, CT announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Rose Page, to David Andrew Eddy. David is the son of Mark and Lori Eddy of Old Forge.  

Michelle and David reside in Brattleboro, VT. A wedding is planned for August 2015 at the Wadsworth Mansion in  Middletown, CT. Family and friends wish them all the happiness in their future together.

The future bride graduated from Town of Webb School in 2006, SUNY Oneonta in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies, and from Sage Graduate School in 2012 with a Masters in Professional School Counseling.

The future groom graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice.

The couple met at their alma mater, SUNY Oneonta.

The wedding will be held August 23, 2014 at the Big Moose Chapel in Eagle Bay, NY.

Coach Peter Brakeley and Dr. Johana “Jody” Brakeley of Middlebury, VT are very happy to announce the marriage engagement of their youngest son Harlan “Harley” Peter Brakeley to Maria Constancia Schnell, M.A.

Ms. Schnell graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor’s degree in 2007 and Masters degree in Organizational Development in 2008. She now works as a Senior Consultant and manages the training team at INFOR, an Information Technology company.

Mr. Brakeley earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from Colorado College in Colorado Springs in 2006. He now works as a Server Engineer for Nordstrom.  Continue reading →

Hilary George and Jason Villiere of Old Forge have announced their engagement.

Hilary is the daughter of Mary Hobika of New Hartford and the late Lawrence George. Jason is the son of George Villiere of Old Forge and the late Carol Villiere.

The couple is planning an August 4, 2012 wedding at Moose River House in Thendara.
