Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced last week that $785 million in state funding has been awarded to the ten Regional Economic Development Councils (REDCs) across the state.

Of the ten plans presented statewide, the North Country was among four that were awarded with “Best Plan” designation, thereby resulting in more projects being supported.

Overall, $103.2 million has been awarded in support of seventy projects across the North Country region. Continue reading →
