I would like to express my deepest thanks to the Community Scholarship Committee for selecting me to be the recipient of the Aaron Norton Award, the Bob Lindsay Memorial Award, the Fred and Marina Simmons Award, and a general Community Scholarship.

It is an honor to receive these scholarships. I appreciate your help and support to further my education and to help me become the best that I can be.

I have just returned from a two day Summer registration program at Elmira where I will be attending college this Fall.

When asked where I was from, it was with pride that I told them Old Forge, and told what a supportive community it was.

Elmira also values community and the success of all students. Elmira also has a mandatory community service requirement for all freshmen.

Coming from Old Forge, I understand how important it is to give back and I know I will feel at home during my stay at Elmira.
