The White Otter Fish and Game Club of Woodgate hosted an NRA Basic Rifle Instructor training course on Sunday, June 9th.
The course is designed to develop National Rifle Association certified instructors who possess the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Basic Rifle Shooting course. Completion of the course enables the participants to help the Boy Scouts of America and other organizations with their firearm safety efforts.
The course instructor was David Roberts, range officer at Boy Scout Camp Russell and shooting sports chairman for the Revolutionary Trails Boy Scout Council.
