The opening scramble for Thendara Golf Club was held on Sunday, June 2. Eighty participants played 18 holes of golf through showers, sunshine and wind to compete for a variety of prizes.
Despite the conditions, there was only one rain delay—and a few bugs to make it interesting.
Following play, a buffet was served by Jim Holt and his staff in the Grill Room.

Golf Pro Rich Chapman, assisted by Damon Kull, announced the winners of the scramble. Chapman also thanked new greens keeper, Matt Simon and the greens crew, and the Pro Shop staff for their help.

The women’s low gross winners were Sheila White, Linda Folsom and Paula Peck. The women’s low net winners were Heather Stafford, Kathy Nahor, Peggy Rotton, and Alice Dorfman.
In the mixed category, low gross winners were Tom and Corey Down, and Sherri and Tim Noonan. Low net winners were Jean and Bob Risley, Shirley Lindsay, and Dick Hart.
