Card of Thanks

The FunRaiser for “Bridge to Skate” that was held at McCauley Mountain on Sunday, April 6 was a huge success. With great competition and entertainment, over $1,000 was raised to help build a school in Honduras.

This would not have been possible without the support of many participants and volunteers. From the relay race, to the waitress race, to the monkey toss and all of the other festivities, a great time was had by all.

We would like to thank Morehouse Appliances, McCauley Mountain, Adirondack Café, Louie Ehrensbeck, Pedals & Petals, ARO; and all of the volunteers—Chip, Brian, Gus, Diane, and Barb, among others.

Charlie Uzdavinis was the 50/50 winner of the Winter Carnival Castle Ice-Out contest having guessed—within an hour—the actual time of the melting of the castle on May 23rd. Charlie said he will be using his winnings of $75 to help pay for his dad’s new hip.

Thank you to all. This is a great community.
