Adirondack Bank accepting letters of interest in charity tourney funds

The Adirondack Bank Charity Golf Classic is scheduled at the Thendara Golf Club for Monday, June 10 and the Charity Selection Committee is seeking letters of interest from local non-profit organizations that would like to be considered as recipients of funds from the charitable event.

Requests from 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations are eligible for consideration.

Organizations should submit a short letter, include the group’s nonprofit tax ID number, state their main mission, the segment of the community they serve, and the specific purpose for the funds requested.

Letters of interest can be sent to: Charity Selection Committee, P.O. Box 525, Old Forge, NY 13420. Letters can also be dropped off at the Old Forge branch of the Adirondack Bank. Deadline for receiving requests is Tuesday, May 10.

The funds raised will be disbursed among the following organizations: Home Aide Service of the Central Adirondacks, Camp Ronald McDonald, and the Kelberman Center at Upstate Cerebral Palsy, and possibly your organization, too.
