View presents Warren Miller ski film on Saturday & Sunday, March 1 & 2

View, the arts center in Old Forge, will present two showings of Warren Miller’s ski film, Flow State, on Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2.

Flow State guides viewers to the top of the world’s most striking peaks, taking them on an exhilarating journey across the globe to Norway, Austria, California, Switzerland and beyond.

Critics say the film includes some of the most captivating footage ever shot by Warren Miller Entertainment.

It showcases Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety as he takes on Alaska’s mighty Chugach, Julian Carr as he bombs down Utah’s famed Wasatch, Jackie Paaso exploring the Norwegian Arctic, and Chris Anthony who makes Warren Miller history on 70-year-old, 10th Mountain Division ski equipment.

The movie is sponsored by McCauley Mountain, Holly Woodworking, and the Polar Bear Ski Club.

It is being held in conjunction with the Kandahar Ski Races that will be held at McCauley Mountain on Saturday and Sunday, March 2 and 3.

The film will be shown Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. A spaghetti dinner will be held Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m., prior to the filming.

Tickets are $8 for the film. Tickets for the film and spaghetti dinner are $12 in advance or $15 the day of show.
