Carl J. Barcomb, 52, of Old Forge, passed away on February 15, 2013, in the Town of Webb as a result of a snowmobiling accident.
Carl was born in Oneida, NY on February 25, 1960, the son of Robert and Arlene Lawton Barcomb.
Carl was a graduate of Oneida High School. On January 1, 2000, he married Kelli Gribneau in Old Forge.
Carl had a passion for his job as a General Manager in the Maintenance Department at Enchanted Forest/Water Safari. Carl also had a passion for snowmobiling, motorcycles and fishing but most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends.
Carl is survived by his wife Kelli, his mother Arlene Barcomb; son Carl A. (Sarah) Barcomb; his brothers Phil Barcomb, Scott (Kristie) Barcomb; Shawn (Jackie) Barcomb; sisters Sherry (Dwayne) Munger, Alexis (Chris) Pearson, Maureen (Geoff) Snyder and Colleen (Brian) Bassett.
Carl is also survived by his grandson Gavin, who was the center of his world, as well as several nieces and nephews. Carl is also survived by his three faithful companions Tiger, Farrah and Duke.
Carl was predeceased by his father Robert, his brother Alex and his brother Bob.
A Memorial service will be held March 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Niccolls Memorial Church in Old Forge.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
