Girls Varsity Basketball
The Town of Webb Varsity Girls Basketball team was defeated by Adirondack Central School, 50 to 37, at a home game on Tuesday, January 15.
High scorers for Webb were Katie Connell with 18 points, Mercedes Rice with seven, Mackenzie Kelly with four and Jodi Bolton with two.
The Webb girls lost to Poland Central School at a home game on Thursday, January 17 with a score of 36 to 33.
Katie Connell scored 10 points, Samantha Notley had eight, Mercedes Rice and Jodi Bolton each scored five points and Melissa Rockhill scored two.
Rice and Connell were both strong on rebounds.
The team played New York Mills at a home game on Tuesday, January 29. The Webb girls lost the match-up with a score of 39 to 34.
High scorer for Webb was Katie Connell with 10 points. Also scoring points were
Melissa Rockhill with 8, Mercedes Rice with 7, Sam Notley, 5; and Jodi Bolton, 4.
Rice had 10 rebounds and Connell made six blocks and eight rebounds.
Girls Varsity Volleyball
The Town of Webb School Girls Varsity Volleyball lost to New York Mills at a home match on Friday, January 18 with a score of 1 to 3.
The game scores were: 19 to 25, 25 to 20, 25 to11 and 25 to14.
In a match on the same day, the J.V. Girls’ Team lost to New York Mills, 2 to 0.
