The fifth grade students of Anne Phinney at the Town of Webb School are currently collecting funds for the Herkimer County Humane Society.
As the economy remains burdened, the number of shelter residents continues to increase, and therefore, the needs of the shelters are constantly on the rise.
The goal of the students is to collect at least $600. In addition to financial support, the class will also be collecting towels, blankets, sheets, and any other bedding that can be used by the humane society.
