The trustees of the Town of Webb Historical Association will host a Holiday Open House on Sunday, December 2 at the Goodsell Museum in Old Forge.
The event will be held from noon and 3 p.m. and all are welcome to stop by to view the exhibits and enjoy refreshments, holiday music and conversations with neighbors and friends.
The Open House will mark the official opening of the feature exhibit “Mapping Our Adirondack Wilderness: Historic Pathway to the Settlement of the Town of Webb”.
On display will be maps that range in years from 1792 (Macomb’s Purchase) thru 1916.
Also featured will be stories of explorers, surveyors and cartographers, as well as, photographs, books and artifacts.
The Goodsell Museum is located at 2993 State Route 28, across the road from the Old Forge post office.
