Library Director Lynn Durkin said it was a busy summer and the volunteers helped tremendously by putting books in order, placing books on shelves, and calling patrons when their ordered books arrived.

“It’s easier for the library directors to work on collections and to run the book sale when the volunteers help us do everything else,” Durkin said.

Associate Director Debbie Haynes agreed.

“It’s an absolutely wonderful little library, and I feel pleased and privileged to serve people who visit, and those who live here. It’s gratifying to know you’ve been of service. Patrons come in and express their appreciation for the library’s offerings,” Haynes said.
