Chelsea Hanford and Diane and Jim Amos took part in Old Forge’s June 30 Blood Drive

I would really like to thank the community for all of the support at the June 30 blood drive sponsored by the Red Cross which turned out to be the most successful blood drive ever held in Old Forge.

The goal was to have 24 blood donors attend, but we were able to collect 57 pints of blood that in-turn would assist 171 patients.

I am currently a Town of Webb School senior and plan on majoring in nursing in the fall of 2013.

Thanks to the great turnout at the blood drive, I received a BloodStock Red Cross Scholarship.
