Webb’s school’s first prom—the start of a great school tradition

Hey this is Rosy RoX, the girl around town, in the know and here to answer your questions.

Rosy’s Random Review: Prom is the one thing a teen definitely wants to experience before they leave high school. Town of Webb just had its first ever prom on Saturday, June 2nd!

Before it was just a semi-formal, the Spring Fling. But now it’s the official prom that most girls look forward to in their high school life.

Prom is meant for seniors, but since our school is so small, it was open to students in grades 9 through 12. It was held at View and the theme was Evening Masquerade. It was fun.

And for anyone that didn’t go this year, I really recommend it in the future. Jumping around to music can be a lot more fun than you expect it to be.

Dear Rosy RoX,

I think my parents are breaking up. They’re fighting all the time, and I really don’t want them to divorce. What do I do?

Sad

Dear Sad,

There’s nothing you can really do. This is between your parents. It might be hard to have them split, but things like this happen all the time. Your parents might not be living together anymore, but you can still see them—just not together.

It may not be too late, tell your parents how you feel. It can snap them out of their fighting phase and make them realize there’s something a lot more important than just them, and that’s You.

If they truly do divorce, it’s something you can’t stop. Just try to look on the bright side of things and enjoy the times you will have with your parents individually.
