Mr. & Mrs. Jamie Schimp
Krystal Lynne Caufield and Jamie Lee Schimp were united in marriage on October 22, 2011 at the Coral Sand Inn’s Gazebo in Ormond Beach, FL, with the roar of the ocean behind them.
Parents of the bride are John and Linda Caufield of Old Forge, and parents of the groom are James and Laura Schimp of New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Carla Casolara Ortiz was matron of honor and Jeff Schimp was best man. Ryan and Heather Caufield, brother and sister of the bride, greeted friends and relatives and usherd them to their seats. The ceremony was officiated by Pam Godawa.
A reception followed at the Spruce Creek Fly-In Golf and Country Club in Port Orange.
The bride is a graduate of Town of Webb School and SUNY Potsdam. She is an elementary teacher in New Smyrna Beach.
The groom is a graduate of Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach and Daytona State College. He is a software engineer in Oviedo.Krystal and Jamie honeymooned on a cruise to the western Caribbean Islands. They reside in Port Orange with their dog, Bandit and cat, Miles.
The couple will visit Old Forge from July 26 through August 3, so if you see them around town, stop and say hello.
