The Town of Webb School Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Remsen in an away game on Tuesday, January 24 with a score of 67 to 45. Sam Waterbury scored 19 points, including three 3-pointers; Calvin Risley scored 17 points; and Greg Hunkins tipped in 12 points for Webb.Then, on Saturday, January 28, the Eskimos were unfortunately defeated by Rome Catholic at home with a final score of 73 to 66.
Despite the loss, the boys did very well overall. Standout performances for the game included Waterbury with 36 points, Risley with 9 points, Ethan Kress with 7 points, and Greg Hunkins with 6 points.
On Monday, January 30, the boys were defeated 62 to 39 at home by Little Falls High School. Despite the loss, Waterbury and Risley collectively scored 30 of the 39 points, treating the spectators to excellent performances.
The boys hold a 3 wins and 7 losses league record, with a 6 win and 10 loss overall record.
