Webb fifth graders conduct Humane Society fundraiser

The fifth grade class at the Town of Webb School has begun its annual fundraiser to benefit the Herkimer County Humane Society of Mohawk.

The students’ goal this year is to raise $700 which will be used to support the cost of spaying and neutering dogs and cats available for adoption.

Anyone who would like to assist with the students’ goal can send a check payable to The Herkimer County Humane Society to: Anne Phinney, c/o Town of Webb School, P.O. Box 38, Old Forge, NY 13420.

“The shelter’s needs are endless and we hope to alleviate some of the burden. If you are considering a pet for your family this holiday season, please consider adopting from one of the many shelters in the Central New York area,” said Mrs. Phinney.
