Library sets Christmas events

The Old Forge Library will celebrate Christmas by offering an evening of family friendly activities on Tuesday, December 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. Jingle Belle and Snowflake the elves will assist participants in making Christmas ornaments.

The finished ornaments will be used to decorate a tree that will be featured in the play, “A Christmas Tree for Kitty”, which will be presented at 7 p.m. Families are invited to come in their jammies to hear Christmas stories, watch the play, and enjoy cookies. All will receive a Christmas bell to take home. Students interested in either performing in the play or helping behind the scenes can call (315) 369-6008, or stop by the library on Thursday, December 8 at 3:30 p.m.
