View, the new arts center in Old Forge, is offering limited tickets for bus tours to the Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown.
The tour includes theatre seats, roundtrip bus rides from Old Forge, and a box lunch for $65 (a $160 value).
The first trip is scheduled for Tuesday, August 2 for a performance of “Annie Get Your Gun”. Another trip will be on Tuesday, August 23 to see the opera, “Carmen”.
Buses will leave View at 9:30 a.m. for the 1:30 p.m. matinee performance. They will return to Old Forge at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Lunch will be available at the Thaw Pavilion at 11:30 a.m., followed by a staff-led insightful preview of the performance.

Anyone who has already purchased a ticket for the Tuesday matinee of either Annie Get Your Gun or Carmen through the Glimmerglass box office who would like to ride on the View bus can call the above number to make arrangements. There will be an additional fee for the service.
