To the Editor:
For years Patrick Russell has dedicated himself to serving the Town of Webb.
He has found ways to limit or lower taxes for Webb residents.
He has helped streamline the county labor force to reduce payroll.
He remains a roadblock to proposals that would divert more northern county resources to the southern county.
He has stood between us and a bad bed-tax deal.
Where some legislators have marginalized themselves and squandered their own influence, Patrick continues to receive key committee appointments.
His experience with county budgets and the respect he’s earned among colleagues have caused him to be chosen from among 17 legislators to chair the county’s finance committee. And that’s a big bonus for all of us.
Patrick Russell has served us for a dozen years, and he has many more to give. He is raising his family in Old Forge; he is running a family business in Old Forge.
Old Forge is his home, has always been his home, and will continue to be his home. And above all, he works for US.
He is not propped up by an outside group with questionable intent.
Patrick Russell is OUR candidate.
He has given us the straight facts and proven his value time and again.
Patrick gives all of District 15 a significant influence in Herkimer, and we need to keep that influence intact.
Let’s support our own community and our own local interests by re-electing Patrick Russell.
