CAP-21 says thanks for Flower Basket Program support

CAP-21 held an appreciation party for its hanging flower basket volunteer waterers at Van Auken's Inne on Wednesday, September 28. The Hanging Flower Basket Program was once again a great success this year! There were nearly 300 baskets planted, watered and hung in the Towns of Forestport and Webb as well as in the hamlets of Big Moose and Stillwater. CAP-21 would also like to say a big Thank You to all the volunteers who spent a lot of their summer watering each one of the beautiful baskets throughout the Rte. 28 corridor and hamlets. On Wednesday September 28, we invited them to a thank you party held at Van Auken’s Inne in Thendara. A great time was had by all!

In addition, we all want to thank Fred Trimbach for his never- ending enthusiasm to the Flower Basket Program! With out his tireless dedication, we could not be starting our 14th season next year! Great job everyone and thank you to all the volunteers who keep this program going each year!
