The death of my dear wife, Maryann Hardy, mother of my daughter Susan and son Douglas, created a vacuum in our family that was responded to by our many fine friends here in Old Forge.
The many notes, flowers, food, and donations we received were a wonderful help at this very difficult time. All of the kindness and care Maryann and I experienced from the wonderful folks at HASCA was a bright light here in the forest.
This amazing community has helped us continue with our lives as we are sure Maryann would have wanted us to do. We are very thankful for all of you giving us the strength to go on.
