Members of North Woods Lodge #849 in Old Forge are collecting articles for flood victims within the NY state area.
The following articles are needed: clothing, boots, shoes, sneakers, jackets, sheets, blankets and pillows, non-perishable food items, and toiletries.
According to Andy Getty of North Woods Lodge, clothing and bedding does not have to be new, but must be clean.
All donated items will be distributed to flood victims by members of the Lodge and can be dropped off at the receiving area at the Park Avenue Building in Old Forge, Monday thru Friday, from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. in care of Andy Getty. Donations must be received by Saturday, September 24.
Anyone who is unable to bring items to the drop-off area can call (315) 369-3001 to arrange for pickup.
“Just leave a phone number and address and someone will call you back,” Getty said.
