LETTER: H.S. deCamp thanks Webb voters

Wow, history repeats itself….four years ago I found myself in a similar situation—the election was too close to call. Absentee votes would decide. Four years ago there were 186 absentee ballots and I took 118 of them, but not enough to beat Ted Riehle’s lead.  Registered voters in 2011 were 2,058.

During the last couple of years I have been sought out, encouraged and begged to run for supervisor again. I heard your requests and acted on them.

Fast forward four years to November 3, 2015. When the results came in only two votes separated my opponent Mr. Moore and me. The absentee ballots will once again decide the race sometime after November 18, 2015. Registered voters in 2015 were 1,632.

That’s 426 less voters in Town of Webb.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the voters of Town of Webb for their votes, encouragement and support during this very close election. No matter whom ultimately wins—our community has great potential and an enormous heart to carry it into the future while preserving our Adirondack way of life.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

H. Stuart deCamp, Thendara.Independent Candidate for Town of Webb Supervisor
