More than 40 vehicles took over the parking lot and picnic area of Arrow-head Park in Inlet on Saturday, July 25 for the 3rd annual Inlet Classic Car Cruise & Show sponsored by the Inlet Historical Society.
People’s Choice Awards were presented to: 1st place – Ken & Carol Sheets of Barneveld, NY – 1953 Buick; 2nd place – Dave Kardash of Remsen, NY – 1954 Willy’s Jeep; 3rd place – Jim & Joan Snook of Forestport, NY – 1971 Chevy Pickup & Camper.
1st Place People’s Choice won by
Ken & Carol Sheets of Barneveld
Best in Show was awarded to Pete McCarthy of Holland Patent, NY for his 1957 Ford Thunderbird.
The Inlet Historical Society held a 50/50 raffle and raffled off prizes donated by The Wine Shop of Inlet, Fulton Chain Craft Brewery of Old Forge, and Rock Auto and online parts store.
Door prizes given to the car owners were provided by: Mike Fadel, manager of Streetside Classics of Charlotte, NC; Hemmings Motor News of Bennington, VT; Adirondack Shirt Factory of Inlet; and Adirondack Bank of Old Forge.
