The Niccolls Memorial Church congregation invites the community and their pets to join them on Sunday, May 17 for a Blessing of the Animals that will be held at Moose River Farm at 1 p.m.

All animals—dogs, cats, gerbils, birds, etc.—are welcome and must be securely restrained. Dogs and cats must have up to date rabies documentation.

Moose River Farm owners Anne and Rod Phinney previously hosted the Niccolls Church Family Christmas Eve Service in 2013 where their horses and donkeys, chickens and goats played a starring role as the congregation celebrated Jesus’ birth in a stable.

“We are thrilled to return to the Moose River Farm for this Blessing of the Animals.

When the Phinneys invited us back, we were immediately inspired to spend more time with the animals that Anne described with such insight and nuance in her book, Finding My Way to Moose River Farm. In fact, the farm itself has its own unique character…it is a perfect setting for the special blessing,” said Niccolls Pastor Lawrence Bartel.
