A committee representing the Town of Webb School Class of 1965 has been busy planning a 50th reunion for the weekend of June 26, 27 and 28.
Among the activities already planned are a Friday tour of the school that will be followed by an informal lunch.
Later in the day all will meet at the school courtyard for a group photo prior to the Class of 2015’s graduation.
The alumni will stay for graduation and then get together again for some post-ceremony social time.
Saturday events will include chairlift rides at McCauley Mountain, and trips aboard the Adirondack Scenic Railroad and Old Forge Lake Cruises.
The day’s cap-off will be dinner and music at Van Auken’s Inne.
On Sunday, a brunch is planned at Van Auken’s as well as a tour of VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge.
According to committee member Linda LaDue, approximately half of the 42 members of the graduating class have already responded positively to the reunion, but she and fellow organizers would also welcome other alumni, faculty and staff from the ‘60s to join them for the informal activities.
Anyone who would like to join in the fun can contact LaDue at (315) 240-4453 or Linda Folsom at 369-6391.
