Scott L. Hall, 55, passed away at his residence, after a heroic battle with cancer on Friday, March 27, 2015, while surrounded by the loving care of his family and friends.
He was born in Utica, on December 15, 1959, a son of Wilfred Scott and Myrna Lindsay Hall. Scott grew up in Old Forge and graduated from Town of Webb High School. Mr. Hall was employed by Hubbell Companies of Margaretville, NY, for many years as a Golf Course Shaper, building golf courses around the world. He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his mother, Myrna of Old Forge, Scott is survived by two sisters, Joan Tormey of Old Forge, and Susan Beckingham of Canandaigua, NY, and loving companion Ilsa, Old Forge. He was predeceased by his father, Wilfred Hall.
A Memorial Mass was held on Monday, March 30 at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church, Old Forge, where Rev. Shane Lynch officiates. Interment will be in the spring in Riverview Cemetery, Old Forge.
