Inlet’s Arrowhead Park Adirondack Woods & Water Expo set for June 4th & 5th

The Town of Inlet will be welcoming outdoor enthusiasts for its Adirondack Woods & Water Expo to be held Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5, at Arrowhead Park.

The Expo will feature presentations, instruction, and demonstrations.

It will also showcase merchandise designed to help people of all ages and abilities better appreciate and enjoy the outdoors-both in the woods and on water.

The focus will span a variety of outdoor interests.

The hours of the expo are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Among the land and watercraft products on display will be motorboats, canoes, kayaks, and four wheelers.

All will be available for sale at various booths.

Among the manufacturers scheduled to be represented are Sunfish, Placid Boatworks, Eddyline, Pakboats, Trek, Gary Fisher, Mirraco, Mercruiser, Evenrude, Johnson, Honda, and Yamaha.

Not-for-profit organizations being represented are the Black Fly Challenge bike races event, One Square Mile of Hope 2011, Adirondack Council, Adirondack Mountain Club, Central Adirondack Search And Rescue Team (CASART), and the Town of Webb Historical Association.

Others that will be participating are Clark’s Marina, Green House Basketry, Pedals & Petals, and Adirondack Hunting Authors.

Among the informational topics are those relating to invasive species, photography, basketmaking, and geocaching.

And”ADK Mountains & Trails” slideshow will be presented as well.
