Webb school gets go-ahead from voters on roof project

Voters in the Town of Webb school district voted in favor of a proposition to expend funds for a roof reconstruction project at a special vote on Wednesday, March 11.

Of the 96 votes, 90 were in favor of the proposition.

The proposition authorizes the Board of Education  to reconstruct portions of the existing District building and reconstruct the roof in the science room/labs and cafeteria.

The gross sum expenditure will not exceed $256,000 and will be paid for using the unappropriated fund balance, with no additional taxes to district residents.
