Sign-ups under way for preschool story hours at Old Forge Library

Toddler Story Time and Winter Story Hour will be held at the Old Forge Library on Fridays from January 9 through February 13.

These free programs are a way to acquaint children with the library as they enjoy activities and interact with other children their age.

Toddler Story Time will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and is open to toddlers ages one to two along with a parent or caregiver.

Led by Sara Alves-Tapper, children will listen to stories, enjoy puppets, learn finger plays and have some toy time.

It is funded by the Town of Webb Recreation Program.

Winter Story Hour is for pre-school children ages three, four, and five-plus years and will be held from 11 a.m. till noon.

Registration is required.

The hour of stories and creative play will be led by Library Director Isabella Worthen, Karen Beck and Bella Beck.

Parents are asked to provide a group snack or drink for one session.

Registration is available at the library or by calling (315) 369-6008 by Thursday, January 8.
