Small Business Administration recognizes Adirondack Bank among year’s top lenders

The Syracuse District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration announced on November 6 that Adirondack Bank was once again named the top small community lender in Central New York.

The bank approved 15 loans totaling $4,000,000, outperforming all other small community lenders with an asset size of less than $1 billion in the Central NY Region.

This marks the sixth consecutive year that Adirondack Bank has received this distinction.

“Adirondack Bank has been a long time supporter of small businesses in and around Central and Upstate New York,” said Adirondack Bank President and CEO Rocco F. Arcuri, Sr.

Arcuri said small business is the lifeblood of many of the communities served by Adirondack Bank.

“We are proud to have earned this designation from the SBA for the sixth year in a row and to partner with the SBA to provide these programs in support of our customers,” he said.

“Congratulations to Adiron-dack Bank’s team of small business lenders for their sixth straight year as the top small community lender in Central New York. With continued partnership, our loan programs can assist entrepreneurs with the capital needed to create jobs and contribute to the local economy,” said SBA Syracuse District Director Bernard J. Paprocki.

Adirondack Bank has served the consumer and business community for over a century, operating 19 branch offices throughout Central and Northern New York.

Adirondack Bank is a locally owned and managed community bank with its executive headquarters at 185 Genesee Street in Utica.
