Local musician Doug Green was the winner of the drawing for a Jasmine Dreadnought Guitar that was held at George’s Liquors in Old Forge on Monday, September 1st.

Over 800 tickets were sold at George’s, Randy’s Restaurant and Mountain Music to assist Old Forge resident Lucy Walker with costs related to medical treatment she has been receiving.
Mountain Music owners Al and Izzie Worthen, who donated the guitar, were present to watch Lucy pull the winning ticket.
According to Izzie, if Lucy continues to mend and gets the okay from her doctors, she hopes to be back to work by November.
“We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated and helped with the benefit,” she said.
