Each Thursday from summer through fall, a group of area residents and seasonal visitors gather to paint watercolors, acrylics, oils and pastels, Plein Air.

For those unfamiliar with the term, Plein Air means outdoors. Each artist paints in the medium of their choice.
The group, sponsored by VIEW, chooses various sites around the area to visit and paint together from 9:30 a.m. to approximately noon, followed by a discussion of each other’s work, suggestions, tips, encouragement, ideas and networking.
When the weather is uncooperative the group meets at VIEW where there is ample room for everyone to paint and enjoy the latest exhibits for inspiration.
Artists of all skill levels and medium are welcome to join the group.
