VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge, is sponsoring a raffle for a Hornbeck canoe. The 12-foot canoe, weighing only 15 pounds, is constructed of a matrix blend of Kevlar and carbon fiber and has a retail value of $1,600.
Tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and can be purchased at VIEW, at 3273 State Route 28, or online at ViewArts.org.
The winning ticket will be pulled on Saturday, September 13th. The winner need not be present to take the prize. Proceeds will benefit VIEW.
