Hoss’s Country Corner hosting Ad’k authors

All are invited to come to the 30th Annual Adirondack Authors’ Night at Hoss’s Country Corner in Long Lake on Tuesday, August 12 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Known as the largest book event in the Adirondacks, the evening offers the opportunity to meet and greet more than 60 Adirondack authors, musicians and storytellers under a big red tent located behind the store at 1142 Main Street in Long Lake.

In addition to authors and storytellers, live entertainment will be provided by musicians Dan Berggren, Bill Smith, and George Ward.

They will be performing traditional Adirondack music as they have for almost the entire 30-year run of Authors’  Night.

Lorrie Hosley has been instrumental in promoting Adirondack books, writers, storytellers and pulling them all together in one location for guests to meet and greet their favorites.

This is a hallmark event for Hoss’s Country Corner that has been a family-operated regional landmark for over 40 years.

Among the authors attending are: Larry Beahan, MD, Nancy Best, Hallie Bond, Pieter Gaskin,, Matthew Glavin, Carl Heilman, Bruce Hiscock, Gail Huntley, Susan Kiesel, Pete Klein, Jeanne Selander Miller, Jay O’Hern, Anne Phinney, Marty Podskoch, Don Potter, Justin VanRiper and Jean Whyte, among others.

Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
