Coupons can be used to purchase fruits and vegetables at any participating Herkimer County Farmers’ Market.
You qualify if you are at least 60 years of age and have a monthly income at or below
$1,800 for a one-person household, $2,426 for a two-person household, $3,051 for a three-person household, or are at least 60 years of age and currently receiving or eligible to receive SSI, food stamps, public assistance, or Section 8 housing subsidy.
Booklets are limited to one per household.
Coupons will be distributed at th Old Forge Farmers’ Market on Friday, August 1 from 2 to 4 p.m.
