Adam J. Court promoted to Lieutenant Colonel

Major Adam J. Court has been selected for promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is a 14-year veteran of the Air Force and serves primarily as an F-15E fighter pilot with over 2,800 hours of flight time, including 1,000 hours of combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.Adam Court SVD

Major Court was the 2000 Distinguished Graduate from the University of Oklahoma R.O.T.C. program and holds two masters degrees from Colorado State University and the Air Command and Staff College. 

His decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, three Air Force Commendation Medals, and 10 Air Medals.

One of his 10 Air Medals was awarded for saving 14 soldiers when he suppressed two enemy fighting positions in eastern Afghanistan on January 20, 2009 in his F-15E.

Major Court will relocate to Osan Air Base, Korea this summer upon completion of training at Hulburt Field, FL. He will be joined by his wife, Kim and daughters, Paige and Carly.

He is the son of Cathy and Bob Dibble of Old Forge.
