OLD FORGE

Friday, July 1

The First Friday Art Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. showcases the work of local and regional artists and artisans. Various locations throughout town. (See ad in this paper.)

Saturday, July 2

View, the new arts center in Old Forge, presents its annual Craft Fair at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center on North Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. $5 admission

Sunday, July 3

The annual Craft Fair at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center on North Street continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. $5 admission

Old Forge Lakefront concert with The Thirsty Coyotes at 7 p.m. Bring a blanket or folding chair and enjoy the free performance

Monday, July 4

Lakefront concert featuring the Floyd Community Instru-mental Ensemble begins at 7:30 p.m.

Fireworks at dusk, rain or shine. (Fireworks cancelled in the event of a severe thunderstorm.)

INLET

Saturday, July 2

The Jam Bones will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arrowhead Park Lakefront. Bring along a folding chair or blanket and enjoy the free concert.

Monday, July 4

The annual Ping Pong Drop will begin at 1 p.m. at Fern Park. Ping pong balls will be dropped by a seaplane operated by Payne’s Air Service. Kids can collect up to three ping pong balls and redeem them for prizes donated by local businesses and organizations.

Jamie Notarthomas will perform from 7:30 to 10 p.m. during the Fourth of July celebration at the Arrowhead Park Lakefront. Fireworks over Fourth Lake at dusk.

RAQUETTE LAKE

Saturday, July 2

Strawberry Shortcake Festival at the Raquette Lake Fire Hall. Enjoy Strawberry Shortcake from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Puttin’ on the Ritz will perform a jazz concert at 6:30 p.m. at the Raquette Lake School

Monday, July 4

Spectacular over-water fireworks show on Raquette Lake begins at dusk

LONG LAKE

Saturday, July 2

Fourth of July Weekend Boat Parade and Float Contest at 5 p.m. Dress up your boat and compete for the prize!

Monday, July 4

Games for the whole family begin at 10 a.m. on the Long Lake Ball Field

The Great Long Lake Bed Races begin at 5 p.m. $10 per bed. Cash prizes!

Blues Legend, Ernie Williams performs live on the Long Lake Town Beach at 6 p.m.
