A NY State Boater Safety Course will be held at the board meeting room of the Town of Webb Offices located at 3140 State Route 28 in Old Forge on Sunday, July 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The NYS Boater Safety Certificate is required for boat operators ages 10 to 18 and adults operating solo, and mandatory for all PWC operators from ages 14 to adult.
The fee for the eight-hour course is $20 and payable the day of the class. Space is limited. Registration and more information is available by calling instructor Eileen McCann at (315) 865-8470.
