• A burial service for former Town of Webb Police Chief Robert Crofut, who passed away on December 5, 2013, will be held at Riverview Cemetary in Old Forge on Thursday, May 22 at 2:30 p.m.
• A memorial mass for J. Claude Lecours, who died December 14, 2013, will be held on Saturday, May 24 at 11 a.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Church on Crosby Blvd. in Old Forge.
• The family of Sherry Grimm, who passed away on February 26, invites friends as they honor Sherry’s life and commitment to the Adirondack community at a memorial celebration on Sunday, May 25, at View, the arts center in Old Forge. All are welcome to stop by between 3 and 6 p.m. to share a story of her life and many adventures with her dear friends in the mountains.

• Joan E. Ward, 73, of Old Forge, NY, and formerly of Turin, NY, died February 26, 2014, at home with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. Her funeral was Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Turin Methodist Church. Her interment will be Friday, May 30 at 11 a.m. in Turin Cemetery.
