Inlet Area Business Association to host tourism informational session, May 14

The Inlet Area Business Association has been asked by the Town of Inlet to assist the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST) in creating a Tourism Master Plan (TMP) for Inlet.

As a means of gathering input for the plan, the IABA will host an informational session at the Ole Barn in Inlet on Wednesday, May 14th.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Following, a representative from ROOST will provide information about the Tourism Master Plan.

There will also be a presentation by Donna Pohl and Jim Connerty on how lodging establishments can offer concierge services to their guests.

“The purpose of the IABA is to help increase and improve the business economy in the Town of Inlet and the surrounding area, to act as publicity bureau for the same, and to advance the business interests of said area. Businesses, professionals and friends of the Inlet area business community are welcome,” said IABA Chairman Dave Scranton.
