Season’s first Falling Leaves Craft Show Slated for Saturday, Sept. 3 in Old Forge

The Falling Leaves Craft Show, hosted by Niccolls Memorial Church Women’s Fellowship, returns to the Town of Webb Building on Park Avenue on Saturday, September 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Proceeds from the show will benefit the Polar Bear Ski Club.

Lunch will be available and a Cookie Walk will also be featured that day.

Vendors selling handmade crafts include:

Mary Blanchard, jewelry; Dixie Carpenter, candles; Judy Christman, Doll Clothes; Heather Freeland, Adirondack Racks, etc;

Winona Gage, jewelry; Barb Green, basket weaving; Linda Lieber, hand-sewn goods; Linda Mackos, handmade blankets and dog attire;

Peter Monteleone, wood turning; Laura Moran, painting on rocks and slate; Barb Narolis, knitwear;

Andree Newton, totems, wood gourds and wood carving; Nancy Rhodes, Adirondack wall hangings and purses; Greg and Toni Rudd, pottery, jams and jellies;

Pat Smith, keepsake photo albums and pillows; Sally Smith, ripple art; Philippa Sen, paper jewelry boxes, art work; Tracey Yahnke, knitting;

Cathy Rigall, textiles, quilts, etc; and Pat Wuest, floral arrangements.

Before the Falling Leaves season ends, the Women’s Fellowship will host two additional craft shows at the Park Avenue Building.

The Saturday, October 1 show will benefit Hope House, and the Saturday, October 8 show will benefit the Town of Webb Historical Association and the Old Forge Ballet Company.

A Cookie Walk and refreshments will be available both days.

There will be a $2 donation for each of the events to support the Women’s Fellowship mission work in helping area service agencies.

Children will be admitted free of charge.
