The Old Forge Library will honor the memory of J. Claude Lecours with a memorial lecture on Friday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. This ‘Men of Mettle’ lecture will present the results of a recent study of innovative logging contractors from throughout the Northern Forest Region.
Mr. Lecours was a highly respected member of the logging community, a local leader and an enthusiastic supporter of the Old Forge Library.
The lecture, presented by Innovative Forest Operations Research team member Dr. Steve Bick of Thendara, will offer a look at the practices of innovative loggers and relate this information to Claude Lecours and his legacy.
